LIVE LIKE WE'RE DYING
by Kris Allen

Sometime we fall down and can’t get back up
We’re hiding behind skin that’s too tough
How come we don’t say I love you enough
Till it’s too late, it’s not too late

Our hearts are hungry for a food that won’t come
We could make a feast from these crumbs
And we’re all staring down the barrel of a gun
So if your life flashed before you, what would you wish you would’ve done

Yeah… gotta start
Looking at the hand of the time we’ve been given here
This is all we got and we gotta start thinkin’ it
Every second counts on a clock that’s tickin
Gotta live like we’re dying

We only got 86 400 seconds in a day
To turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em while we got the chance to say,
Gotta live like we’re dying

Well if you plane fell out of the skies
Who would you call with your last goodbyes
Should be so careful who we live out of our lives
So when we long for absolution, there’ll be no one on the line

Yeah… we gotta start lookin’ at the hand of the time we’ve been given here
This all we got and we gotta start thinkin it
Every second count on a clock that’s tickin
Gotta live like we’re dying

We only got 86 400 seconds in a day
to turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em while we got the chance to say,
Gotta live like we’re dying

Like we’re dying oh…
Like we’re dying
Like we’re dying oh…
Like we’re dying

We only got 86 400 seconds in a day
to turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em while we got the chance to say,
Gotta live like we’re dying

You never know a good thing until it’s gone
you never see a crash until its head on
All these people right when we’re dead wrong,
You never know a good thing till it’s gone

The BEST 2011 Rain Asia Tour in Singapore
7:28 PM - Wednesday, May 25, 2011

After the concert in Sepang, I was trying to convince my mom to allow me to go for another Rain concert in Bangkok or Singapore. Since its his last concert tour before he goes to army, this would be my only chance to catch him live before I wait 2 years for his return. After talking about it over and over again, my mom finally granted me her permission to go! I choose Singapore over Bangkok because the flight to Bangkok was so pricey!

Bought my tickets through Soo Lan. I was a lil 'kiasu' cause they had Priority Sales and I wanted to get my ticket as soon as I could. Ended up paying slightly more than the original price. :S But realised it was worth it in the end. ^^ Drove down to Singapore that weekend with my parents!

Morning of the concert

Arrived at the concert venue at 11 a.m. (FYI, the concert starts at 7pm! :P) Since I already paid so much for the ticket, I might as well, go earlier and get a good spot and make every cent count right? Arrived there and totally didn't have any idea where to go! There were NO posters or banners AT ALL at the stadium. I walked around and saw 2 guys queuing under the blazing hot sun. I found it impossible for 2 GUYS to be queuing that early! So I thought they might just be very jobless people and just continued walking to the SISTIC counter since that was the place I was suppose to collect my ticket from.

Walked towards there and finally saw familiar faces and a group of girls/ladies queuing in line! Met up with Ina, N Unnie, Kher Ning and Joey. Awhile later, met Lilian too. Us Malaysians were the first to arrive at the concert venue! There were a group of Japanese fans too besides us Malaysians. After waiting for awhile, we were told we could go in to wait. Since we were there so early, they pitied us for waiting in the sun and allowed us to go in only if we had a ticket.

The never ending queues
I still haven't collected my ticket so I headed to the nearest mall with Kher Ning to get some water and food for us while waiting. We managed to convince Kher Ning to come for the concert as well and she finally got her ticket, the moment the ticketing counter opened. :D She went on in to queue with the rest of them and I had to wait at the fanclub queue alone. After awhile, an Indonesian girl, Ayu joined me at the line. It was nice meeting her! :) She was my companion the whole time before the concert. My only regret was not taking a picture with her! :( Soon the 2 guys who I saw earlier joined the line too. Actually they were there queuing for their friend who had to take care of her baby. That made more sense rather than actually such crazy male clouds! haha!

We queued while waiting for Soo Lan to arrive with our tickets. While waiting, we managed to take turns and go get some concert merchandise. The merchandise were surprisingly cheaper than expected! Managed to get myself the whole set of merchandise! :D Finally met Soo Lan and collected our tickets from her. Only then we found out that since we bought the tickets from her, we have the priority to enter the stadium through the fanclub entrance. Which means we will be the first few in the stadium! Which also means, I came to the stadium so early for nothing! hahaha! But it was worth the experience, being there so early, I could meet so many people and share our stories while waiting.

Went to get something to eat with Ayu since we were free to walk about, not stuck in the queue. My number in the queue was 119. It was already set, probably in the order of payment I guess. We were allowed to go in and before that they checked our bags. The security wasn't very strict, and I managed to smuggle in my camera. Days before the concert I was in a dilemma whether or not to bring along my camera. Thank God I did or else I would be regretting it until now. Got myself a locker so I can have less baggage during the concert. Took locker no. 82 since 1982 was the year Rain was borned. :)

Went in and waited for the rest to join me. This was the closest I have ever been to the stage. There were only 2 people in front of me. It was near to the T stage but was kinda far from the main stage. I guess you just can't get the best of both worlds. :( Snapped pictures while waiting. The stadium was sadly quite empty. The publicity in Singapore was really disappointing. How can there not be any posters or banners at a concert venue?! The day before I was walking in Orchard Road and there weren't any posters there too. The concert was quite on time. It started at about 7.15 p.m.

Light stick made by a Japanese fan! So nice! ^^

Let the awesomeness begin!
For the first few songs, I was screaming my heart out. Without realising it, tears started flowing from the side of my eyes. I guess this is really what you call 'Tears of Joy' :) I was really so happy to see him perform live again! And this time I was so close to the stage! I could practically see the sweat flowing down his neck. *hyperventilates*

Started of by singing "I'm Coming". Other songs he sang include "Touch Ya", "You", "Harudo", "One", "How To Avoid The Sun", "Only You" and "Why Do I Love You Again".

Then he proceeded backstage to get changed. Even while changing backstage, the cameraman was still filming him! *drools* But he pushed the camera to his accessories when he was changing his pants! Haha! Do check out the link for the video at the bottom! ^^

"My Girl" - Lilian Yap (:
Then he came out for the most anticipated part of the concert. As most fans should know, before Rain sings "My Girl", he will choose a girl from an audience to bring up on stage. Rain picked up the video camera and started looking for someone. Rain is known to have a soft spot for little girls, he spotted a little girl, probably around 5-6 years old from the audience. There was a problem with the camcorder and he couldn't zoom on her. Once that was fixed, he zoomed onto that girl. She looked so scared! Rain was asking her whats her name, asking her to come up on stage. The girl was probably too terrified and just shook her head. Rain then said "I am waiting for you" with a disappointed look on his face.

He then continued walking to the other side of the stage. Then he spotted another person. At that time, us Malaysians in Pen C were all screaming in excitement because the girl he choose was a person we knew, LILIAN YAP! She didn't realise it was her until she turned back and saw the screen. She quickly agreed to come on stage and the body guard brought her on stage.

For the next few minutes, she sat on stage, singing along with Rain to "My Girl". He gave her a huge teddy bear and a bouquet of roses too. They danced on stage and then her headband which says "MALAYSIA" fell on the stage. He picked it up, and stared for it for awhile before putting the headband on his head. When he took it out, he looked at it again and said "Oh! Malaysia.". At that moment, all of us were screaming like crazy! Never been prouder to be Malaysian. Showed him how supportive us Malaysian fans are! So proud to be a Malaysian Cloud. ^^ Hopefully he will suddenly decide to have a full concert in Malaysia before he goes off to Army!

The concert continues...
He continued bringing us more awesome performances, singing "With U", "Fresh Woman", "Hip Song", "Don't Stop", "Love Story", "Love Song" and his signature performance "Nan" (For those of you who don't know, thats the song where he rips his shirt and rain falls on him!). While I was shooting "Nan", suddenly my camera ran out of memory! Luckily I brought an extra along and managed to record just before he rip his shirt! :D But it didnt really show his chocolate abs. :(

He then took off the half-ripped top and wore a coat and sang to "Rainism" and "It's Raining". There was some technical error with the sound system when he performed "It's Raining", then he had to go backstage for a few seconds. He came back on stage to perform "It's Raining" with twice as much energy! Then he started talking to the audience, saying he loves Singapore, he loves chilli crab, he loves butter crab. The man just never forgets about his food! :P He announced it was the last song before singing "Na" and disappeared backstage.

Encore
The same video which was showed in Sepang was showed. The video that put tears into my eyes back in Sepang. And he came back on stage with "Bad Guy". Seeing him come up on stage with the Adidas track suit, I knew that the concert is gonna come to an end very soon. I put that thought aside and continue enjoying the concert.

Then he sang "Instead of Saying Goodbye", the finale song, the final song, the last few minutes witnessing Rain live. Though the song is a pretty happy song, I couldn't stop the tears. As I watched him perform his last song, I just teared. Because I know, after this, I will really probably never see him live again until he comes back from the army. Just before leaving the stage, the song "Jump" by Kriss Kross was played and I just jumped along to the song. :) While jumping I then realised how hungry I was. Nevertheless, I still continued jumping! :D

Farewell
Throughout the concert Rain came down from the stage, towards the audience but I didnt get to touch his hand. :( I guess the handshake during Sepang is special enough for me and I shouldn't be so greedy and let others have their chance (; Lingered inside the stadium for awhile then met up with the oh-so-lucky Lilian! Even while we were talking to her, so many people came up to her to get their picture taken. She became a celebrity overnight! Haha! We went out to the back to join the whole bunch of people who were there waiting for Rain to leave the stadium. While waiting we managed to exchange emails with some Japanese fans and talk with some of them too.

He finally appeared, I wasn't near enough to get a good view of him sadly but I was using my camera to just zoom towards him. He walked all the way in front to shake hands with his fans before proceeding to his car. Even inside his car, he winded down his window so he could wave before leaving. So sweet of him! ^^

All good things must come to an end

As all good things must come to an end, after bidding farewell to Rain, we Clouds had to bid farewell to each other as well. We managed to take some group photos before leaving and one picture with the CJ Entertainment people who were in charge of the concert merchandise. Those of us who were using the MRT to get back, proceeded to the Stadium MRT station.

We met the Japanese fans at the station, and they needed help to get a taxi. So Kher Ning, the only one who is staying in Singapore and could speak a little Japanese, offered to help them out. We bid farewell to Lilian, who was going the opposite direction. We were kinda noisy as we were not only bidding farewell to her but her teddy as well! :P I had her bouquet of flowers with me because she had to fly back to Malaysia and wouldn't be able to bring flowers on board. I got to spend a day plus with a bouquet of flowers given by Rain! :D

The rest of us took the same train and went out separate paths. Kher Ning and the two Japanese fans went off at Paya Lebar while N Unnie, Ina, Chai, Joey and her mother went off towards Changi Airport. As for me, I headed back to Pasir Ris and got myself McDonalds for my dinner/supper!

Post Rain's Concert Gathering at KLCC

I had to deliver flowers to Lilian, so we all had a mini gathering that night in KLCC on Tuesday night. Those who were there were Hazel, N Unnie, Sen, Amy and the lucky girl herself, Lilian together with her huge teddy! We had some quality time chatting among ourselves, watching videos and just talking about our experience on Sunday. It was nice meeting up with these people again!

The headband which Rain picked up and read "Oh! Malaysia." :)

The teddy now wears a shirt! ^^

I love being a Cloud. :) Every Rain outing, whether its just a gathering or a concert, I get to meet someone new. :) Not only people from Malaysia, but from all over the world! To all who made that weekend such a memorable one, THANK YOU! Nice meeting all of you and hope to meet you guys again someday! ^^

Meet and Greet Photos!
1:28 AM - Saturday, April 23, 2011

This is just the best way to end the first week at my first internship/job! The long wait was definitely worth it as I'm now on cloud nine! :D Chivas finally uploaded the pictures from the Meet and Greet session! :D

The handshake :)

*hyperventilates*

The few seconds of my life when the group picture was taken and Rain placed his hand on my back! *faints*

Doesn't he just have the perfect boyfriend height? XD I'm so in love!

Even though we didnt get any autographs or individual photographs taken with him, who else would have the chance to get that close to him right? :D A handshake and a group photo is better than nothing and so many Clouds out there would be dying or this chance! I really find myself very very lucky. Chances like this really comes once in a lifetime so I'm gonna cherish that moment and keep that memory alive :)

Thank you to everyone (Swee Wei, Chivas Malaysia, KLue, those who voted for me on the KLue contest and everyone else) for making this possible! Credits to Chivas Malaysia for these meet and greet photos! :D

Endless Rain Craze Weekend :D
9:48 AM - Tuesday, April 12, 2011

Haven't updated this blog in such a long time! Its about time to with all these Rain filled days of mine for the past few days! Warning! Its a very very LOONNGGGG post ahead! :D

It finally RAIN-ed in MALAYSIA! After the long 4 years wait, the man himself, the cute, hot and sexy Kpop King finally came back for the Malaysian Grand Prix After Race Concert. RAIN IN MALAYSIA for the 2nd time! *hyperventilates* Continue reading for the full account of what my whole Sunday was like, including the MEET AND GREET SESSION and the CONCERT! *jumps*

An early start for the Rain filled day!
Left Seremban on Saturday evening to KLCC to meet up with Lilian, since I had to camp at her place before the airport greet which is at 5.10 a.m. on Sunday! Met up with a few more Rain fans namely, Kher Ning, Amy and Winnie from Hong Kong. Had a Korean meal for dinner, and the main topic of our conversation is just ONE word, RAIN. :D It was really nice talking to them and listening to their Rain stalking experiences since I had none! :( So jealous of them! We sat and chatted for hours while stuffing ourselves with food.

We then left to buy some snacks for Rain since he is arriving so early in the morning, we thought of getting him some cookies, sweets and snacks for him to munch on since after all the man just LOVES his food! :D Then me and Kher Ning followed Lilian back to her place. We were guessing which hotel Rain would be staying in, so when I was in her house, I went online and started googling. Since they mentioned he was staying in a resort, we guessed the Golden Palm Tree in Goldcoast Sepang. We got the contact and called them up to check if Rain is staying there. Then BINGO! The reception confirmed that HE IS STAYING THERE! We were all so excited! *jumps*

The Welcome at the Airport
We got ready to leave Lilian's place and left at about 2.30 a.m. We did not get any sleep at all that night. :D We hired a van to bring us everywhere that day so we started off by picking the other people up. Saw Sen, Jaimie and Sara. Good to see these familiar faces after such a long time! Reached LCCT at around 4 plus in the MORNING! There were a few people there already. :) Met Swee Wei for the first time too! :) We were then briefed by this Korean guy about what to not do when he comes out. We waited for an hour or so and he came out! :D

Credit: ratoka

Looking dashing in a which t-shirt and a red cardigan, we all went CRAZY! :D Cheering for him but luckily we were all well behaved and no one started harassing him. :) He got into his white BMW then I saw the tint on the car window going up. We were wondering why so mean dont even let us see him go off! Then after a few seconds, HE WIND DOWN HIS WINDOW! *hyperventilates* Then he waved while the car drove off. *melts* He probably pressed the wrong button the first time round. hehe! :D

Golden Palm Tree, Gold Coast Sepang
It was a pretty long drive into this resort! After all, we were driving to the beach. The resort was just so nice! You have to see it to believe it! I dont think my pictures turned out that nice. XD But the place was really so nice! Very 'Bora-bora Island-ish' in my opinion. :) Of course, the price is equally nice. :) HAHA!

Since it was so early in the morning, Rain went to the hotel for some rest, and we didnt wanna disturb his anymore, so we headed back home to get ourselves some rest. Slept for about 3 hours and had some noodles at Lilian's place before taking of to Sepang. :)

Sepang F1 Circuit :)
There was obviously a traffic jam when we were going into Sepang. But we managed to reach there about 3pm :) Even from outside, the sound of the cars racing were SO LOUD! I can imagine what it would be like inside. But we weren't there for the race, it was ONLY for Rain! :D Sorry F1 fans, but we will go all out just for Rain. :)

We went to the concert venue, the helipad and saw some fans queuing already! We joined them and started chatting among ourselves. Met more fans as time went on and before we knew it, everyone was queuing already! :D The gates were suppose to open at 5 pm, but it didnt! Not too sure what time did it finally open though since I went off to meet Swee Wei. :) Collected my concert tickets from KLue representative, Priya too though I didnt really need it. Just wanted to keep it for memories sake. :)

The long wait.

Met up with Swee Wei and Aris then lingered around the helipad entrance while collecting freebies from Air Asia. :D They were giving out a Rain fan! :D Just when we were about to go in, Aris couldnt go in cause he had a DSLR with him. They wouldnt allow him in and insisted that he kept it back in the car. But their car was parked far far away! Me and Swee Wei went inside first since we were suppose to meet with Eric at 5.45 p.m. and it was past 6 p.m. by then.

Waited for Eric and tried calling one another but the line was so bad! I was just hoping that they havent left for the meet and greet yet! :( Got a text from Eric to meet Angie instead. Met up with a few more people then they brought us into the VIP area. My heart was pumping so fast then! You imagine, walking through these private tents and rooms where the models and others were preparing, its like in any moment, we will be meeting Rain. :) Then we went to the end and saw a group of people coming out of the room.

I thought those people have already met Rain and now he was in THAT room, so I peeped and it was only one of the guys in charged, William. When he was about to speak, I thought he was going to say that the meet and greet is cancelled etc. :( Then he said that change of plans and the meet and greet will be at 8pm instead. According to him, everything is up to Rain's assistant, so we had to see whatever she says.

We left the backstage and went outside to wait. We finally met up with Eric and Aris finally managed to come in (sneaking his DSLR in too!) :D Such a small world, Eric and Aris knew each other! Haha! So all 4 of us were waiting and talking among ourselves since it was more than an hour till the meeting time. Then we managed to get a free drink from Chivas right before we headed to meet William to bring us in for the meet and greet.

Aris the 4 Minute fan, Me the RAIN fan :)

The Disappointment

We went back into the same room as before. Then a lady came in and briefed us about the session. We were not allowed to bring our cameras. When we asked about autographs, we were told, no autographs were allowed too! We were like so disappointed! :(

I guess we had our hopes too high since we were told to bring our cameras and anything we want him to autograph for us. On the Chivas FB page, they mentioned too that we would have loads of time to take pictures with him and even get to know him. Our excitement level which was sky high suddenly just dropped. We were divided into 2 groups. The first group which consisted of us and the other contest winners while the other group was under Chivas.

MEET AND GREET: The time of my life!

We were brought into another private tent which has "Rain" written on the door and his white BMW parked right outside. We went in and were asked to stand in front of the posters which was pasted on the walls. There were about 9 of us. The photographer was already on standby at that moment.

THEN! Looking so smoking hot, he walked in through those doors. Dressed in a black head to toe, exactly in what he was wearing during his opening act, with his shades on, he definitely did melt my heart! He proceeded with shaking each of our hands! *melts* A handshake from Rain himself! He said "Hey" and "Hi" to everyone. I said "Annyeonghaseyo" to him and the other 3 girls next to me copied me! HMPH!

Then he stood in the middle for a group photo. Lucky for me and Swee Wei, RAIN WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF US! He then PUT HIS HAND ON MY BACK WHEN TAKING THE PICTURE! My heartbeat must have increased drastically in that split second! I shook his right hand and his left hand was on my back! OMG! Then after the picture was taken, the body guards started shoving us out already. :( Now waiting for Chivas to send us the pictures :)

Only when i got outside I remembered about the card. Then I asked Eric if I could pass it to him and he brought me back to the tent but his assistant was at the door to stop us. I told her my situation and she said that she will pass it to him. Now I will never know whether he received my card or not. :( I really pray he does and it wasn't just thrown into the bin! :(

The card I made

Wait, wait, wait.
We squeezed our way through the middle of the crowd. We did upset some people since we pushed our way through but I couldnt be bothered! I wanted to be as near as possible to him! But we couldnt go all the way to the front to where Lilian, Sen, Jaimie, Amy and the rest of them were. :( There were just too many people and it was packed with no way for us to squeeze our way through.

We were happy with our spot and just stayed there. The Ford models finale was on but the crowd was totally not interested. I kinda pity them since the crowd was actually booing them! Then there was some Malaysian artist who sang some songs.

SHOWTIME!
It started off with the laser and light display entitled, Performance In The Dark . I think its suppose to be a 3D thing in his actual concert. Then after awhile, he appeared! :D Dressed in what we saw him in earlier, rising up and looking so cool! :D Wanna watch the video of his opening performance, "Rainism"? Click here. :)

Then he continued with "Its Raining". Love the fireworks during this song always! :D Only managed to snap the first one only though. :) After that song, he started talking to the crowd. :) He said "I love Malaysia but it is so warm here" then proceeded with wiping off his sweat. He then teased the crowd by making an attempt to wipe his armpit and the crowd went crazy! HAHA! All wanting his towel! Me included but I was too far! :(

Then continued with "You" with his sexy female dancers. After that he sang "Harudo" and continued with "How To Avoid The Sun". Went backstage for a change or clothes. Before his return his band was playing the Malaysian Folk Song, "Rasa Sayang" and he made his appearance again! :D

Continueing with the very fun and happy song, "Fresh Woman" and pointing and fans all around making everyone go crazy! :D Rain asked us to dance along to the next song, "With U" which he said "This song always makes me happy". And the crowd went 'right, left, right, right, right left, right, right' dancing along to his dance moves.

Then we wowed the crowd once again with his dance moves from "Hip Song". Then he switched into ballad songs and sang "Love Story" followed by "Love Song". Right after, he mentioned that it was his last song and he sang "Friends" :) and exit the center stage door again.

I knew it wasn't the end, since he always ends his concerts with "Instead of Saying Goodbye". Then a video message was played. The message in the video was so sweet! I almost teared listening to what he said! Then he came back on stage with "Bad Guy", his first single released during his debut in 2002. And he danced to the dance part of "I Do". He didnt sing that song though, I was really hoping he will. But I guess he had to cut everything short.

And last but not least, "Instead of Saying Goodbye". All of them bowed when the song ended and slowly the dancers exit the centre stage door. Our cheeky boy doesn't seem to wanna leave the stage was dancing at the door! Shaking his ass and making the crowd go wild! Then he left the stage and that was the last I ever saw of him. *cries*

Post-concert
Only 1 hour performance did satisfy us Malaysian fans who has waited 4 years for his return. BUT I STILL WANT MORE! :( We were still lingering around the concert venue after the concert ended. Met up with the rest from MJJH and left the helipad. Managed to wipe my face on the towel that Rain used since Jaimie and Lilian both managed to get one of them. HAHA! Before leaving Sepang, a few of us managed to steal some cloth posters which was pasted on the boards. XD

I was having mixed feelings after the concert. I was so happy I finally saw him after such a long 4 years wait. But I was so upset because I have no idea when will be the next time I see him live again since I don't think he will be coming to Malaysia again for his "The BEST" tour and he is leaving to the army in fall this year.

My words of gratitude.

1 Litre of Tears
3:15 PM - Friday, January 14, 2011

Aya Ikeuchi at the age of fifteen was diagnosed with a spinocerebellar degeneration, a disease which malfunctions human's motor function eventually making them paralytic. She went to Higashikou school, but due to her illness couldn't make it for graduation and was relocated to special school for disabled people. She was strong and never thought she would die. She wrote a diary telling how she struggled with her illness, how her family stood by her, how her friends treated her and finally how strongly she never gave up life.

A true story based on the life of Aya Kitō. She was a 15-year-old Japanese girl who wrote a diary about her personal experiences while suffering from spinocerebellar ataxia, a disease which no cure has been found until now. Her diary, entitled 1 Litre of Tears, was first published in her native Japan on February 25, 1986, more than two years before her death at the age of 25. Kito battled the incurable disease for 10 years and suffered both emotional and physical pain but yet managed to keep a positive attitude.

Watching this drama based on her life, I wonder how can I ever be like her if something like this would happen to me. Knowing that her time was short, she made the best of it and stayed positive and strong throughout her battle. Watching her family, makes me realise that these are the people who will be supporting us endlessly at times of need. Watching how her friends treats her makes me wonder how would mine treat me if I was in her shoes. Watching her friend who confessed he loved her despite knowing she would be dying made me touched, wondering if I would meet anyone like that.

1 Litre of Tears has been one very meaningful drama from the many that I have watched. We should appreciate the little things in life because we never know when our time is up. Make the best of the time you have whether its an hour, a day, a week, a month, a year or a lifetime.

"When I put my hands to my heart,
'thump' 'thump',
'thump' 'thump',
I can hear it,
I can feel my heart beating,
I'm happy,
I'm alive." ~Aya Kitō

Appreciate the fact that you are alive. Appreciate the fact that your family are in good health. Appreciate the fact that you have the company of your friends. Get rid of negative thoughts and only think of positive ones. Even a person who is facing death can be so positive, why can't you?

Thats my aim, thats my mission.

"Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results." ~Anon

Smile, and be happy! :D

New Year Revolution!
8:52 PM - Sunday, January 2, 2011

Another year is gone. 2010 was a year of drastic changes. Changes in environment. Changes in the kind of people I met. Changes in thinking. Changes in the people around me. And even changes in the people themselves. How can so much change in just over a year? I really wonder. Looking back at 2009 just makes me tear.

2010 has taught me alot though. Meeting all sorts of people made me realise all the different kinds of people there are in this harsh world we live in. Nevertheless, I thank those involved for those bitter sweet memories throughout the year. Those memories makes me who I am today. (:

Its 2011 and its time to move on and leave the past in the past. Whatever changes that may occur this year would have to be endured either way. All I would need now is a positive attitude!

Should have some New Year Revolutions that I am gonna try to stick to.

1. The positive attitude!
2. Exerciseeee!
3. Speak up!

This blog needs a new look pretty soon too! (:

December 2010
10:28 PM - Saturday, January 1, 2011

December 2010 was one pretty busy month.

Started off with the great escape to Egypt and Jordan!
Wanna see pictures of Jordan, click here!
Wanna see pictures of Egypt, click here and here!
Got my new camera just hours before boarding the plane! :D

Then it was my Birthday! :D
A small surprise by Michele, Sher Lu, Savita, Adrian, Jonathan and Kee Wen at midnight. Then it was lunch at Manhattan Fish Market with Michele, Sher Lu, Savita, Adrian, Jonathan and Yun Shen on the following day. After lunch, me and Sher Lu went for karaoke! (: Thank you all for the presents!

Then there was Jonathan's Christmas Performance and Larissa's Christmas Party.
Movie marathons with Sher Lu, Caroline, Darshy and Savita. 1 Utama with Caroline and Sher Lu to look for Michele's present. Wheee! Got myself a purse too! :D

Then it was RESULTS! Which was released earlier than suppose to! WHEEEE! All my efforts were worth it! The hours spent in the Bio Lab from 9 am till 11/12 am was worth it after all. Thank you everyone who helped me along the way and made this possible! After all the feeling of fear, comes the feeling of satisfaction! (:

Then it was the surprise planning. After all those planning and invitation, it was after all a success! For the first surprise;
Me, Sher Lu, Caroline, Yun Shen and Eu Wei ent to her house about 12.45 a.m. to surprise her.

For the second surprise;
Me, Sher Lu, Caroline, Joyce Lee, Vanessa, Savita, Adrian, Belinda, Darshini, Kamalini, Latha, Lalitha, Mei Sann, Soo Ann, Xin Yin, Kee Wen, Joevin, Wei Lip, Malveen, Yun Shen and Eu Wei (I think I didn't miss out anyone XD) woke up as early as 6 a.m for some for the 2nd surprise.

Held some "illegal gathering" in 7-11 Kemayan Square at 7.15 a.m. to gather everyone before heading to her house. One whole row of cars drove from Kemayan Square to Chew Residences. Lighted up the cake and walked into the room to surprise her! After surprise, had some cake and went for breakfast in Al-Wazer. Then some parted ways while some joined in for Karaoke in Green Box.

For the third surprise;
Which was planned by her family, Me, Caroline, Joyce Lee, Mei Sann, Xin Yin, Joevin, Yun Shen and Ken Lai went to Kensington while her whole family was already there with a cake! Had dinner with Michele and family while waiting for the New Year to arrive.

:O I have more to say about her birthday than mine! Whats the meaning behind that? *hint* *hint* XD With that over, 2010 has come to an end. Whats bound to happen in this year? We will just have to sit back and watch what changes would take place this time round. Happy New Year everyone!
